Rymfire Elementary School offers a variety of opportunities for students to participate in after-school clubs and programs. Involvement in these activities helps students academically by reinforcing lessons learned in the classroom. Students will develop valuable skills and build confidence by engaging with their peers in group settings.

A brief info of what your group or club will consist of: This club is designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who love to sing and want to develop their vocal skills. We will meet every Monday and Wednesday at 8 AM, starting September 18th. Meeting at the bus loop. Our club will focus on learning a variety of songs, improving singing techniques, and preparing for performances. Students will also have the opportunity to explore different musical genres, work on harmony and pitch, and build confidence through group singing.

Young Leaders Helping Others
In the K-Kids club students learn leadership through service. Students will plan and participate in community service projects, assist the elderly with chores, and organize community food drives.They will also serve their school, raising funds for sports equipment and extracurricular activities.
In big and small ways, students in this club will change the world around them. But the most significant change happens in the students themselves.

All 4th and 5th grade students are eligible for the Running Club. Students in the club will train for and participate in a 5K.

Soccer Shots of Central Florida is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. The Soccer Shots team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum.
Soccer Shots at RES focuses on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for students to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Student Council is a group of selected students from Grades 4–5 (one student from each class). The students selected depict the character traits and expectations of all Rymfire students as well as leadership qualities. Some of the membership responsibilities include planning and assisting with school events, representing and reporting back to their teachers and classmates, and participating in activities that promote leadership and a positive school environment.

The Rocking Roadrunners Dance Cheer Team is an exciting opportunity for students in grades 3-5 in the fall and grades K-2 in the spring to learn and perform simple cheer and dance moves.
The team will focus on mastering a variety of basic cheer and dance techniques, including:
- Arm motions and jumps
- Chants and cheers
- Basic dance steps and routines
Throughout the season, the Rocking Roadrunners will have the chance to showcase their skills at school events and activities. This is a great way for students to build confidence, teamwork, and school spirit.
No prior experience is necessary - just a positive attitude and willingness to learn! Join the Rocking Roadrunners Dance Cheer Team and get ready to rock the school with your school spirit and dance moves!
